Hi, I'm Marvin! I'm a software engineer based in New York City with a passion for technology and development. During my internship at TodayTix Group, I contributed to launching a rewards system that impacted over 500,000 users, focusing on backend development using Groovy and SQL.
I'm a quick learner who enjoys taking on new challenges. Currently, I am job searching for Frontend, backend, fullstack or adjacent roles. I am also working on a hardware/software project that will track co2 levels in my room.
Beyond tech, I have interests in football, video games, anime, manga, traveling, and movies.

- •Plan a trip anywhere for up to 7 days with this Itinerary generator
- •You can also generate a code to any one of your itineraries which you can send and share with your friends!
- •Perfect for anyone trying come up with ideas for things to do on their vacation
Gordon Botsy

- •My first time utilizing AI in a project and it was a blast!.
- •Gordon Botsy is a robot assistant that uses OpenAI's LLM to generate recipes based on user input.
- •Implemented structured JSON schema to ensure reliable and consistent AI-generated outputs.
- •I also used Next.js Tailwind and ShadCN for the UI.
- •Perfect for home cooks or anyone looking for AI-powered creativity in the kitchen!
HealthSync


- •Developed a large scale app called HealthSync, a community-driven fitness platform enabling Brooklyn residents to create, join, and explore exercise events with features like event filtering, route finding, and real-time updates.
- •This app included a group of four engineers and had a full agile life cycle method in place
- •Integrated authentication and authorization using Express.js and PostgreSQL to ensure secure user data management and privacy.
- •Leveraged Zustand for state management and technologies like React, Socket.io, and Tailwind for responsive and scalable application performance.

- •Constructed LeetNotes, a web application designed to help users efficiently organize and take notes on LeetCode problems.
- •Implemented secure sign-up and log-in features with authentication and authorization to protect user data privacy.
- •Employed MaterialUI and React to create dynamic components like search bars and pagination for improved navigation within the LeetCode problem catalog.

- •Developed Waddles & Nibbles Eatery as an immersive gaming adventure using HTML, JavaScript, and the Kaboom.js library, creating a captivating experience for players.
- •Leveraged Kaboom.js's advanced features, including collision detection and rendering, to enhance gameplay dynamics and ensure a smooth user experience.
- •Gained expertise in Kaboom.js, which expedited development, allowing for an early launch that was one week ahead of schedule.
